Pool Features

There are many special touches that can be added to enhance your backyard pool. Consider a sparkling fountain, or a waterfall tumbling across layers of natural stone or slate as it makes it way back to your pool. Rock formations, both natural and faux, are now available in a variety of sizes, colors, and textures. We can design a lagoon-like area or a spectacular waterfall with secluded grotto to rival those made by Mother Nature.

Adding a dive rock tells the young swimmers where they can dive. Bordering the steps, benches and shelves with tile helps them to be seen underwater. There are several types of decking to choose from; pea gravel, colored spray decking and flagstone are the most popular. Adding accents to your pool’s deck with other materials gives your backyard a more personal and unique look.

Enhanced Waterscapes

Waterscapes Gallery

The beauty of water comes alive with the mesmerizing sounds and sparkling sights of a well-designed oasis. To maximize your enjoyment, we offer custom waterscapes that capitalize on your pool’s design, location, and cardinal orientation. From infinity-edge borders to multicolored fiber optics, Koi ponds to meditation pools, garden walkways to niche arbors – we do it all.

Using only rich, natural foliage and environmentally sound construction, we strive to match your needs for open privacy without curbing the pleasures of your backyard living area. You’ll have a safe and beautiful ambiance in which to celebrate birthdays, host formal pool-side dinner parties or simply relax with a good book and your favorite beverage.

Custom Designed Spas

Custom Spas Gallery

Health and relaxation are benefits expected from owning and using your pool. And a heated spa is the perfect complement. Several jets of high-pressure heated water massage your body to re-energize and refresh you. Our spas not only invigorate your body, they also provide visually pleasing components for your backyard haven. Let us design your dream spa whether circular, rectangular, or oblique.
Our spas can be encircled with lush gardens and bordered with unique tile artistry to offset or compliment your custom pool design.

Spas are the consummate indulgence after a long day and for entertaining friends in your personal paradise retreat. Best of all, a spa can be used at any time of day.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Wonderful experience in a pool and outdoor living area construction project. Crews were attentive and maintained a clean site during the build. Nolan and his team were quick to address small issues and punch list items after the installation. Highly recommend!

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Nolan and his team did an outstanding job. Our circumstances were special: they built the pool before we moved in, all the meetings and selections were done via zoom. Pools by Design did not disappoint, to the contrary, met our expectations and continue to respond to our every question as we had no experience with pools. Honesty and delivery the Texas way! We highly recommend Pools by Design!

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Amazing experience with Pools by design! Very responsive, professional, and easy to work with! Our pool was completed weeks before they’re 10 week timeline. They returned phone calls immediately, helped in the design process until we were satisfied and kept us Updated on what step of the construction was next and what to expect. I always felt I was in good hands and would use them again!

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Josh and Lindsey were amazing from start to finish when it came to our budget and design! Other pool builders sent quotes back to us that were conveniently right at the budget that we had given, not a penny less all the while with little to no personalization of our pool design. Josh took time to listen to what we wanted and is the most honest, professional guy I've ever met. Together he and Lindsey sent us a design and proposal that blew our expectations out of the water AND came in thousands under budget. Can not say enough good things about them and we are truly so thankful we found Pools by Design! You will not be disappointed!

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. When searching for a pool company we found a lot of options and chose Pools by Design. The office had a lot of options to choose from, so don't rush. They took my ideas and exceeded my expectations. Because of my work obligations, I had to reschedule multiple times, but they were always accommodating (even with short notice). Nolan is a star (funny how certain people stand out from the rest)! I never met the receptionist, but she sounds like everyone here is super professional. With so many options, you will wish you gave them a try.
